Privacy and legal notice

This notice explains how we process the data of people who visit the Garavini Torino website, request information or leave their email address for Garavini letters. Last updated: 12 October 2026.

Controller and contact details

The data controller is Luca Babbini, Garavini Torino, Corso Torino 9, 10098 Rivoli (TO), Italy, VAT no. IT12364030010. For information about how your data is processed and to exercise your rights, you can write to info@garavinitorino.it.

Requests for information

Requests are received through two forms: the contact form, where you can also select the topic you would like to discuss, and the “Let’s talk about your Belvedere” form on the Belvedere page. In both, we process your name, email address and message to respond and manage the activities you request. In the Belvedere form, you also tell us whether the Belvedere is for you or for a fleet, and you may provide a phone number if you wish. These details are used only to respond and, at your request, to prepare a proposal, under Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. Providing a phone number is optional: if you do not provide one, we respond by email. For requests for a quotation or relating to a possible purchase, the legal basis is taking steps at the data subject’s request before entering into a contract, under Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. For other requests, excluding job applications, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in managing correspondence received, under Article 6(1)(f). Fields marked as required are necessary to send and manage your request. Sending a message does not subscribe you to the newsletter. Please do not include special categories of personal data or unnecessary personal information in your message. If you select “Careers”, we process your contact details and the professional information you enter in your message to assess your unsolicited application and respond to you, on the basis of steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, under Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.

Garavini newsletter

Garavini letters are being prepared and are not currently being sent. If you leave your email address and, optionally, your name in the dedicated form, we process these details to manage your request to subscribe to the letters on the basis of consent, under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. Subscribing is optional and separate from requests for information. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to info@garavinitorino.it; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it was withdrawn. This notice and the subscription terms will be updated before the mailing service is activated.

Browsing, statistics and attribution

The website uses Framer for hosting and native statistics: traffic sources, pages visited, clicks and use of forms, viewed in aggregate. Framer describes these statistics as using neither cookies nor persistent identifiers. Providing the website may involve processing technical data needed for security and operation, on the basis of the controller’s legitimate interest. Links from social campaigns, collaborations and events may contain UTM labels identifying the channel and campaign. Where present, these labels are entered into the dedicated form fields to understand where a request came from. They are held only in the page’s memory during the current browsing session, without cookies, persistent storage or a profile across separate visits; reloading without UTM labels clears them. Campaign labels must not contain names, email addresses, phone numbers or other personal data. When associated with a request or a request to subscribe to the letters, attribution information is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in evaluating communication initiatives, with a right to object. Our measurement code does not read names, email addresses or message contents, nor does it include them in statistical events.

Recipients and service providers

The data is accessible to the controller and authorised people for the purposes described. It may be processed by providers of hosting, form handling and email services, within the scope of the services used, and by advisers or authorities where necessary to comply with legal obligations or protect a right. The website platform is provided by Framer B.V., based in the Netherlands; Aruba is used for email. The data is not intended for public disclosure.

Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Providers may use infrastructure or subprocessors located outside the European Economic Area. Transfers must comply with Chapter V of the GDPR, on the basis of an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, where required. You can request information about the providers actually used and the applicable safeguards by writing to the controller. For Framer, the transfer mechanisms are described in the data processing addendum and the current list of subprocessors. You can consult them through the links provided or request a copy by writing to the controller.

Retention

Requests and applications are retained for as long as needed to manage the conversation and related activities. We assess the need for retention in relation to the status of the request or application, any contractual relationship, legal obligations and the protection of rights; data that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymised. Any contractual and administrative data is subject to the retention periods required by law. Data collected for a request to subscribe to the letters is retained to manage that request until consent is withdrawn or for as long as the purpose is pursued; data that is no longer needed is deleted. Only the information needed to document consent or honour a withdrawal may be retained for those purposes.

Your rights

Where provided for by the GDPR, you can request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest and withdraw consent you have given. To exercise these rights, write to info@garavinitorino.it. You can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, by consulting www.garanteprivacy.it, or with the competent supervisory authority.

Cookies and browsing

The configuration described uses Framer’s native statistics and UTM labels, without advertising tools or persistent identifiers added by our code. For information about cookies and browsing, consult the Cookie policy.
